FACILITIES
At High Adventure we cater to both residential and non-residential visitors with activities both on-site and offsite.
We are fully equipped to handle visitors from ages 5/6 and up into adulthood, with an excellent range of facilities to ensure that the needs of any group are met.
We are able to facilitate up to 151 visitors in total, with the majority of each room having en-suite facilities.
The main centre has two accommodation buildings. The main 93 bed centre is complemented by an additional 59 bed Primary school focused building called The Nook.
The Nook is a self-contained accommodation building designed for the use of primary school groups of up to 57 students and 7 teachers. It has its own dining room, social spaces and teachers’ lounge. The Nook is separate to the 100 bed main centre accommodation. Both buildings can be booked for exclusive use.
Each building also has multiple breakout areas and additional entertainment.
We also have fantastic onsite catering facilities for residential’s schemes with a set weekly menu you can view here. Our wonderful domestic staff are also able to cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements.
If you have special requirements regarding access and mobility, please do get in touch prior to booking to find out how we can assist you with your visit.

Cote Ghyll
High Adventure have teamed up with Cote Ghyll to deliver primary school outdoor and adventurous activity programmes.
Cote Ghyll provides high quality, modern, hostel style rooms, the majority with ensuite shower & toilet facilities.
This site is ideally located on the edge of Osmotherley with easy access to canoeing, ghyll scrambling, hill walking, bushcraft, shelter building, climbing tower and many more activities to meet the needs of a half or full week away.

PONDEN
Ponden Reservoir was built in the early 1870’s as a compensation reservoir for the former Keighley corporation waterworks, to supply water to the mills in the Worth Valley. The reservoir now owned by Yorkshire Water supplies drinking water for the high level areas of Keighley, parts of Oxenhope and Crosshills.
Located west of Haworth, it’s an extremely popular site for watersports. We currently run all of our water sport activities at Ponden reservoir, such as canoeing, kayaking, raft building and paddleboarding.
We also provide membership for users of canoes, dinghies, sailboards etc at Ponden. Members can sail, or use other approved craft, on this beautiful reservoir set high in the Yorkshire Pennines. There is usually a good wind with challenging changes of speed and direction in various areas of the water. Ponden is a great place to learn to sail or canoe as the water is often un-crowded.
