Feedback from Samantha Young, mum of William Young of Shibden CC ~ attended the CDE Road Training Camp 13-15 May 2022.
“William has thoroughly enjoyed it and seems to have definitely got a lot out of it. It was his first residential stay away from home and it couldn’t have been better. He loved the cycling as well as the labyrinth and high ropes activities and also he was so proud that he managed to master the rollers showing us a video when he got home (I think it was Becky that helped him so please pass on my thanks for her patience!). He has made new friends and developed enhanced friendships with a couple of other club members”

A huge thank you is due to you and your team for last weekend’s Road cycling Camp. From a parents point of view I was very impressed with the facilities, the friendly staff and the level of organisation that went into the weekend. Everything ran so smoothly and I felt completely happy to send the girls out on the road in the knowledge that they were being very well looked after. From a rider point of view, Eva and Isabelle had a fantastic time! They got to ride their bikes through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, they made new friends and challenged themselves with the afternoon activities. The balance and pace of the two days was perfect. Thank you once again for putting in these training camps, they are such a fantastic opportunity for young cyclist to develop a true love of Road cycling (and of the Yorkshire hills!🙂”
